Wayne Herman, the 1992 world Champion Bareback Rider and perenial NFR qualifier was responsible for designing our #101 rigging which still carries his name and revolutionized how modern bareback riggings are designed. Wayne was always one of the most popular cowboys in rodeo and many people are asking what happened to him after he retired. Wayne is currently living in Glendive, MT with his lovely wife Connie and his children and works managing a Farmers Co-op. He still teaches at an ocasional school to pass on some of his expertise on to the next generation of bareback riders.

Interesting fact on the CLG Catalog's popularity. Wayne's mother loves to tell the story about finding her son when he was little, under the covers of his bed with a flashlight reading the CLG Catalog when he was supposed to be sleeping. Little did anyone know at the time that he would grow up to be World Champion.
